During my recent stay at Hotel Rincon de Anton, I was immediately struck by the warmth and hospitality offered by the family-run team. Nestled between the breathtaking Picos de Europa National Park and the stunning beaches of Cantabria, the location serves as an ideal base for exploring the beautiful landscapes, whether with family or fellow adventurers. The heated rooms provided a cozy refuge after a long day of hiking, complete with picturesque countryside views and an information-rich library for those quiet evenings. The highlight was undoubtedly the on-site restaurant, where we indulged in delicious local cuisine-truly a delight after a tiring day on the Camino de Santiago. In a region rich with outdoor activities such as golfing and visits to the nearby El Soplao caves, the Hotel Rincon de Anton combines comfort and convenience-making it a perfect choice for anyone seeking an authentic and serene Spanish experience. I look forward to returning soon with a few fellow conservationists to soak in more of the serene surroundings!
